Found this awesome video of Mitsubishi Mirage Cyborg R from the net. Such an awesome build and this kind of modification never fails to amaze me. Apart from clean sporty looks, the engine bay is such candy to the eyes. 

The language in in Thai but no worries you can turn on the cc features for translation (even the translation is not perfect). Hope one day when I have budget, definitely will upgrade my Proton Satria to be as cool as the car.

Engine : Routine Maintenances.

Hi guys.
I've received so much questions on what engine oil that i use, what type of coolant , transmission oil etc. Mostly about engine routine maintenance. So, for today post, i would like to write about it.

Usually, i'll change my car engine oil every 5000 km (maybe less sometimes). The brand that i always go for is Castrol Magnatec. I choose semi-synthetic blend 10w40.

The price is affordable and from my experiences, this engine oil make my engine feel smoother. Well, any other good brand (within the price of the magnatec) that you guys wanna suggest? maybe i can compare which one is better :)

And for the oil filter, i always go for proton original oil filter.The price is damn cheap and it is also reliable since it is produced by the car manufacturer. Btw, we gotta take extra precaution since there are a lot of fake ones in the market now. We need to replace the oil filter everytime we change the engine oil.

For the transmission oil, i use Castrol MTF EP. The transmission oil change is necessary every 20,000-30,000 km. It can prevents from damaging the gearbox.

For radiator coolant, i always go for Toyota 'long life' coolant. Most of radiator shop that i go recommend this coolant since the coolant are good and affordable.

So, that's all for now. I hope you guys can suggest me some good stuffs that you use in your routine car maintenance so that i can have more choices for next routine maintenance.

Engine and Transmission oil change.

Hi guys.

Normally i change my transmission fluid after hmmm, can't recall. Haha. Btw after watched this video, now i realize that it is important too other than just changing engine oil.

If you use your car for daily basis and not for hard driving, don't bother to change the transmission oil frequently. It is just waste of money ( in a way ). Only for crazy maniac guy who enjoy revving the engine like no one else business are advise to change it when servicing the car =p .. Opsss. am i talking about me?

4g93 with ITBs

Hi guys.

Last week, my friend and me went to his panel workshop to do wide-band tuning to his engine. When i was waiting for the tuning to finish, i took a look around on the other rides in the workshop but then i spotted a mysterious induction sound at the back of the workshop. Im very curious to know where the sound came from so i went to the back and check on the ride. It came from a 'not so flashy' yellow Proton Satria with 4g93 engine. Then i realized, it is the engine that i spotted couple of months ago when it is still in the building up process. Hell yeah. Now, it's finished! Pictures of the engine bay bellow.






I'm craving for this induction setup. The sound from the ITBs is damn sweet. I have to keep this engine specifications as secrets since i've made a promise with the owner =p

New Shoes

Hi guys.

There's not much update on my ride except changing the worn out parts such as clutch pump and speed sensor. Other than that, i changed my old and heavy rim to something which are more appropriate to my liking and my car concept ; 15" Volk Racing CE28. Picture below:

Really like the rim design eventhough not as beautiful like my previous 16" rim. Btw, this rim is lighter than the previous one. It will give me an advantage during sprint/drag and also better fuel consumption =p What i need now is to change the tires to better tires. Maybe advan neova? toyo proxes? or just parada spec2 =).

More Than Just Pretty Face

You have seen her in a lot of drift competition, Merdeka Millennium Endurance race and Sepang 1000 km race. Now, she challenged her driving capibility by competing in rally race. Leona Chin! You go girl!

I am very amazed with her style of driving and her enthusiastic in motorsport. She has proved to many of the woman/girls out there that woman can do more than what we as a man think they capable of.

Overhaulin' Finale

Hi guys.

After a long wait , my car finished overhauling. The engine started up last sunday and thank god there was no problem or what so ever. Today ( tuesday ) my mechanic sent my car for camshaft timing with dial gauge to properly set my piston TDC and valve opening and closing. Other than that they weld my air-conditioning condenser since there's some leaking at the condenser. They also change my left and right engine mounting to solid mitsubishi evolution because my current mounting worn out , badly =p

I also test drive it and then hand it back to my mechanic since i would like them to re-fiber my broken bumper. But all i can say after the test drive is that my car is totally different than before. The engine respond is instant, the engine sound is meaner, the clutch is stiffer and gripper, and the car vibrate like hell because of the evo's engine mounts =P but nevermind ; already get used to this kind of vibration, because i'm using high duration camshaft so vibration all over =p . Can ask much right? If u wanna drive fast then you have to sacrifice comfort. Equivalent exchange!

Maybe tomorrow ( hopefully ) i will take the car and take care good car of it for about 1000km or maybe more ? LOL. Engine running-in period. Then will start whacking it again =p
