Some Upgrades


Ohayo Gozaimashta!
Just a quick update on this blog. I just changed my camshaft to higher and wilder specification. I decided to go for 300in/288ex from 272in/272ex from Matspeed. Other than that, i also swapped my current ecu to j5 ecu from Matspeed. All i can say that, i really love the response at high rpm! all the way up to 9000 rpm! orgasm! Some pix below

Set the camshaft timing using the dial gauge for proper cam setting.

And after finish with the setup, we then checked the air fuel ratio with innovate wideband sensor and did some tuning from the air fuel ratio reading.

Duratech High Performance Camshaft

Hi guys.

Just a quick update. Duratech just launched new product to asian market which is high performance camshaft for 4g93 and 4g93T. It is also suitable for 4g91, and 4g92 DOHC non MIVEC. Specification offers as follow :

Duration: 272deg IN , 272deg EX
valve lift: 10.85 IN , 10.85 EX
Valve spring : 16pcs





According to the manufacturer/supplier, this spec is very good for street application.

Cold Air Intake

Hi guys.
My current cold air intake (CAI) is very bad in condition as u can see from the picture below;

looks disgusting...

So i made up my mind to change to a new one. This time i chose cold air intake which is different in material because the aluminum one is very easy to crack and become not flexible as before when aging. Picture below is the new CAI that i bought.

Broken Flywheel

Hi guys.
In the previous post i told you guys about the cracked flywheel. So nothing much on today post actually, i just wanna share you guys the picture of the broken flywheel.






Thank god i have another set of flywheel. The one that i installed to replace the broken one are also lightened and balanced at the machine shop. Hopefully this problem wont happen again in the future.

Ken Block's New Whip

Last times, Ken blocks brought a lot of great stunts with his Subaru Impreza version 10. But now in 2010 , he will be driving the 'Monster World Rally Team Ford Fiesta' in the Rally America Championship and 2010 X-Games. Ken’s first appearance with the Ford Fiesta will be at the RAC’s first race at the Sno*Drift Rally this weekend in Atlanta, Michigan, as stated in the video below.



but i still prefer the Subaru Impreza though =p

Ported & Polished Head , Lighten & Balanced Flywheel Installed

Hi guys!

Still remember couple of months ago i sent another cylinder head ( 4g93T ) to port & polish (stage 3)? It's now installed. Now my new cylinder head is ready for my next project which is to replace the current camshaft with wilder duration ( > 272 ). Still thinking which duration i will suit me. Last time i think 272 degree of camshaft is enough for me but I'm wrong.... still thirst for power. lolx. Other than that, my flywheel cracked after hard driving and i have to change it. Now I'm using lightened & balanced flywheel. The car now is still in the workshop for some tuning & servicing, hopefully will get the car back tonight.
