MIVEC ECU Codes

 Hi Guys!

Its beeeeen a long time from my last post. Hehe... Hopefully some of you who is this blog followers still use this blog as a reference for 4G9X series engine information.

By the way, below are some of the MIVEC ecu codes that I able to locate and share to you:

Silvertop ECU: 4828

Blacktop ECU: 7035

Silvertop MD ECU: 4829

Blacktop MD ECU: 7036

Japan Ralliart ECU: 2910

Hong Kong Ralliart ECU: 2264

p/s: I am using ECU code 7035 on my hybrid 93 MIVEC with GReddy E-Manage piggyback ECU.

April 2013 Engine Setup

Hi guys!

Its been a looooooonnnggg time since last update. By the way, I've just change my small aluminium radiator to big 3 layers full aluminium radiator.

Next i might change to new header because the current 4-1 R3 header got crack inside. Still thinking which header setup should i go for. Whether to stick with 4-1 setup or 4-2-1 Cusco or maybe 4-2-1 Hytech design........ Any recommendation guys?

4-1 Header for 4g93 by Tonnka

Hi guys.

Tonnka, is very well known here in Malaysia for their parts such as competition racing header, intake manifold, exhaust manifold & turbo manifold. This company can custom every kind of manifold that you want.

And for this post, i would like to share with you guys the newly developed header by them for 4g93 user. Pictures below.






Since it is made for 4g93, it can also be used in 4g91 or 4g92 since it comes from the same family. The design is very nice and i'm very sure that this can yield more horsepower for 4g91,4g92 or 4g93.

R3 Stage 3 Header

Hi guys!
Since i'm running on a new setup, i also thinking to redo back my exhaust system. Last 3-4 days ago, i managed to get a 'used' R3 Stage 3 header which i found when i surfed online market to replace my Hotbits 4-2-1 header. After finished dealing with the seller, i straight away bought it as the price fit my budget and other than that, R3 department has stop the production of this kind of header, so i can say that this header is quite a rare item. Picture below.

After a few runs with the new header, i can say that this header is quite good. Most people said that this 4-1 header will make bad low end power, but thank god i didnt spot any decrease in low end power. It gives a very good mid range power and superb high end power especially after MIVEC kicks in! Badass sound! I kinda like it very much.

The only thing that i hate about this header is the header runner is quite long, below the oil sump, meaning that the clearance with the ground is not so good. Not really appropriate to use on the road in my country which have a lot of speedbumps. Really scare it will bent! Hope it will not. If thats happen, than i have to find another one :(
